Scaled-down dimensions and thoughtful features give Bevel an edge in the small office
CHANTILLY, VA — October 17, 2019 — Bringing big style to small spaces, BDI introduces the Bevel Desk. This new stand-alone desk offers a compact writing and computer desk solution and will showcase at the High Point Market in BDI’s showroom, IHFC D536.
Designed by Matthew Weatherly, Bevel measures 48” W x 23.5” D x 35.5” H, making it an ideal size to anchor home offices or in spaces with a small footprint. The desk also features a unique Forbo linoleum surface, which lends a warm touch that is ideal for writing and everyday office use while providing a resilient, durable, and easy-to-clean finish that gains a soft and attractive patina over time.
The smooth angle on the desk’s edge provides ergonomic wrist support for typing and writing, while a lined mezzanine storage tray can be positioned anywhere along the top tier of the desk, keeping everyday office supplies close at hand. The desk also features a reversible pull-out drawer that can be mounted on the left or right of the desk, per the user’s preference.
With smart wire management built in, Bevel features wire wrap mounts on the back of the desk, making it simple to bundle and secure cords and cables to reduce unsightly cord clutter. A natural modesty panel complements seated use, allowing Bevel to float in a room, if desired.
The Bevel Desk is available in Drift Oak or Toasted Walnut finishes.
