#PacesForPink campaign offers a chance to win a limited edition Pink Bink Mobile Media Table and support the cause

CHANTILLY, VA—September 13, 2017— Each year at the High Point Markets, thousands of visitors will rack up and track thousands of steps walking around High Point to see the latest in home furnishings. Thanks to BDI, one lucky pavement pounder this Fall will be rewarded for their steps with a limited edition Pink Bink Mobile Media Table, all while supporting City of Hope in its fight against breast cancer.

From October 14-18 at the Fall Market, BDI will promote an awareness campaign called “Paces for Pink,” in support of breast cancer awareness.

Here’s how it works.

Step One: Join BDI’s “Paces for Pink” Campaign by visiting the BDI Showroom (IHFC Design Center-Space 536) and picking up a free breast cancer awareness lanyard. (Not required for participation)

Step Two: Keep track of your daily steps at Fall Market using your Fitbit or the step-tracking app on your smartphone.

Step Three: Photograph or take a screenshot of your tracking app’s step count and share it on Twitter by tagging us @BDIFurniture and using the hashtags #PacesforPink and #hpmkt

Step Four: Tell your friends!

Each daily Tweet will equal one entry in your chance to win a free Pink Bink—an exclusive finish for the popular mobile media table that is perfect for lounging by the pool or getting work done—and support breast cancer awareness, research and treatment in the process.

Every year, 250,000 women and men are diagnosed with breast cancer. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, BDI is stepping up its efforts to help the thousands of families impacted by the disease. Through its #ThinkPinkBink initiative, sales of Pink Bink now through the end of the year will benefit breast cancer research and treatment at City of Hope, one of 49 comprehensive cancer centers in the United States.

By participating in #PacesforPink, visitors at High Point Market can help spread the word about BDI’s important campaign – and take a step towards doing something special.

“We wanted to give visitors yet another reason to get mobilized and excited by all the Fall High Point Market has to offer,” said Lorri Kelley, President of BDI. “With Paces for Pink, we can all work together and pick up the pace in the race towards finding a cure for breast cancer.”

There will be one winner selected at random on Oct. 18. No purchase is necessary to enter. For more information about the initiative, visit https://www.bdiusa.com/thinkpink.
