Industry Leader Brings Experience in Sales & Marketing For Luxury Brand

CHANTILLY, VA – September 12, 2016 – Furniture manufacturer BDI announces that David Stewart has joined the company as Vice President of Sales, reporting to Lorri Kelley, President. Stewart brings 17 years of experience in sales and retail operations to this position. He will lead all sales efforts for BDI, overseeing account management, supporting product development and participating in the strategic direction of the company as part of the executive team. Stewart will be transitioning into the the role previously held by Steve Feldman, Director of Sales, who retires at the end of the year after more than 16 years with BDI.

Most recently, Stewart served as Vice President of Sales and Operations for North America for W. Schillig where he had a primary role in strategic planning, communication, and execution of the company’s mission, vision, and values. He was also engaged in market research, product development, strategic planning, and played a key role in establishing the design direction for the North American market.

Stewart earned his Bachelor’s degree in Wood Products from Penn State University in State College, Pa.
