BDI WINS BIG, EARNING COVETED AWARDS AT FALL HIGH POINT MARKET

CHANTILLY, VA — Nov. 7, 2016 — The recent High Point Home Furnishings Market marked a big win for BDI. Not only did the company open a new showroom and introduce new management, but company designers returned to headquarters with two new awards as well. Recognizing excellence, innovation and originality in the practice of furniture design, the coveted Pinnacle Award by the American Society of Furniture Designers was given to two BDI designs.

For the Home Office category, BDI received this award for its Sequel Lift Desk, designed by Matthew Weatherly. In the Home Entertainment category, the Venue Console by Louis A. Lara earned the votes of the distinguished judging panel.

“Of all of the “sit and stand” desks, this one is the most ergonomic and functional. The ability to precisely set the height and to even have a memory option for the height is remarkable. Bringing touches of automotive function into the realm of home furnishings. Clean lines, well thought out hidden wire management, drawer storage and a tough, smooth work surface make this piece best of its class.”

“BDI is on point with this refreshing design. It doesn't look like anything else in the market currently. Beautifully designed.
