BDI OFFERS NEW NATURAL WALNUT FINISH ON AWARD-WINNING COLLECTION
CHANTILLY, VA – October 2020 – Furniture innovator and manufacturer BDI announces the best-selling Corridor Collection is now available in a new Natural Walnut finish. In addition to the new finish, the collection is also available in Chocolate-Stained Walnut and Charcoal-Stained Ash. Corridor in the new finish will begin shipping in November.
As one of BDI’s most popular collections, Corridor has been a recipient of the International Society of Furniture Designer’s coveted Pinnacle Award for excellence in design, and it has also won the Contemporary Design Group’s Edward Haimsohn Award for design. According to Bill Becker, BDI’s Design Director and CEO, the new finish now allows various Corridor pieces to have a broader appeal in the home.
“Part of the design aesthetic for the Corridor collection is the signature louvered doors, which bring a mid-Century modern appeal to any space,” says Becker. “By making Corridor available in a more natural finish that shows off the beautiful walnut wood grain, we felt it would give consumers more extensive applications for transitional spaces. We feel the Natural Walnut offers a fresh finish for one of our most popular collections.”
The Natural Walnut finish boasts a clear coat to enhance the beauty of the natural wood tones, ideal for today’s transitional home or office environments. The new finish is also true to most natural walnut tones found in the market and will easily coordinate with other pieces of furniture.
