New addition to Sequel Office collection raises the bar on elegant ergonomics

Chantilly, VA – June 2016– Furniture manufacturer BDI announces the newest addition to its Sequel Office Collection, the Sequel Lift Desk. The first freestanding, height-adjustable desk from BDI is now shipping to quality consumer electronics retailers and finer home furnishings stores nationwide and internationally.

Designed by Matthew Weatherly, the Lift Desk is available in two desktop sizes and can be raised and lowered between 23.75” and 49.75” — the perfect range for those who switch between sitting and standing during their work days. With a growing trend in standing and adaptable work stations, the Sequel Lift Desk offers a versatile work surface for any office environment.

The Sequel Lift Desk features a digital keypad, with four user-programmable presets. With the touch of a button, the desk adjusts to the user’s preferred height – seated, standing or anywhere in-between.

Key features of the Sequel Lift Desk include:

A micro-etched, black tempered glass top, which offers a smooth, fingerprint-resistant work surface
A digital keypad which can be installed on the left or right of the desk for the user’s convenience
A cable management system to keep wiring organized and out of sight

The Sequel Lift Desk pairs perfectly with other pieces in the Sequel Office Collection, which also includes mobile files and storage credenzas. These components are designed to be configured in a variety of ways, meaning the user gets his or her ideal workspace. The collection boasts clean lines available in four finishes: Natural Stained Cherry, Espresso Stained Oak, Chocolate Stained Walnut and Natural Walnut.
