BDI INTRODUCES SOMA LIFT DESK AT APRIL HIGH POINT MARKET

Versatile Desk Features Pneumatic Cylinder to Smoothly Adjust Height in Any Space

CHANTILLY, VA — Apr. 2, 2022 — BDI, a premiere furniture designer and manufacturer, has introduced the Soma Lift Desk at High Point Market this April in BDI’s showroom, IHFC Design Center, #536.

Created by Jeff Bare, Soma is designed to offer a flexible and compact standing desk solution for today’s office spaces. Soma’s desktop effortlessly glides up or down on its pneumatic column with the touch of a lever, settling at the perfect height between 29” and 42”H no matter how you like to work.

The desktop features smooth, contoured edges that make it comfortable for laptop work. Measuring 35.5”W x 19.75”D, the desk is compact enough to fit in spaces with limited square footage, while providing enough desktop area for everyday use.

Available in Charcoal-Stained Ash, Satin White on Oak and Natural Walnut, Soma weighs 53 lbs. (24 kg) and can hold up to 25 lbs. It retails for $1,199 USD/$1,599 CDN and ships in 2Q 2022.
