BDI DEBUTS ONLINE DESIGN TOOL FOR THE SEMBLANCE MODULAR SYSTEM

Create Custom Office, Storage or Media Systems Using BDI’s Popular Semblance Components

CHANTILLY, VA – July 25, 2016 – Furniture manufacturer BDI has created an online design tool for its popular Semblance Modular System. A fully customizable collection, Semblance meets a multitude of needs by combining shelving and enclosed storage with workspace and technology components to create office systems, storage solutions, room dividers or media walls. The Semblance Configurator enables retailers, designer and consumers to experiment and create the perfect system. Once designed, the user can access all system details and an assembly guide.

The Semblance Configurator can either guide consumers through various pre-configured models created by BDI or enable them to completely customize the system to their specific needs, space and technology requirements. The tool lets users select and change the component finishes and create and save as many designs as they choose while providing them with dimensions, average costs and a dealer locator. The system details page features an image of the design, a bill of materials including model numbers, descriptions, quantities and average price for each component.

The Semblance collection includes a modular system of innovative desks and tables, shelving, storage and media cabinets and file drawers that are completely customizable. The shelves and tables incorporate fingerprint-resistant, micro-etched black glass and the cabinets feature micro-etched glass doors on soft-close hinges. Semblance is available in four finishes.
