BDI DEBUTS NEW ERGONOMIC CHAIR AT HIGH POINT

Office Chair Features a Personalized Seating Experience

CHANTILLY, VA — June 1, 2021 — BDI, a premiere furniture designer and manufacturer, introduces the new Voca Chair 3501, which will showcase at High Point Market this June in BDI’s showroom at the IHFC Design Center, #536, and will be available in stores in July.

Voca is constructed with premium materials and rigorously tested hardware, including an innovative, breathable mesh that was created by textile manufacturer WINTEX in partnership with DuPont. Designed to promote airflow that keeps the body cool, this unique material also adapts to the body’s natural contours and provide just the right amount of support.

“Our new Voca chair is designed with comfort and flexibility at its core,” said Matthew Weatherly, Associate Design Director at BDI. “Whether for a corporate setting or your home office, this chair is ergonomically engineered to provide the ideal home base for daily operations.”

Bringing ultimate comfort to the workday, Voca features Synchro-Tilt, which enables the backrest and seat to tilt independently - while still linked together - as the user leans back, allowing the legs to stay at a natural level during recline. In addition, the seat’s waterfall edge provides added comfort by reducing stress to the back of the legs.

Voca also includes a personalized seating experience, allowing for complete customization and adjustment of multiple parts of the chair for maximum comfort. These ergonomic features include:

Adjustable armrests in any direction to provide tailored support to a user’s arms and wrists;
Adjustable seat height with a lever that provides pneumatic support for the ideal height;
Tilt tension control to fine-tune the amount of force required to recline;
Adjustable backrest that moves up or down to accommodate a user’s height and build;
Adjustable seat depth that glides front or back to ensure a custom fit;
Cushioned headrest for neck support that adjusts in height in unison with the backrest;
Cushioned lumbar panel provides lower back support for prolonged periods of sitting.

The chair is available in a slate mesh and frame with a polished aluminum base, and measures 45-51.5” H x 28” W x 28” D. Voca is BIFMA certified, making it suitable for any application.
